Our philosophy is to target base pay at competitive levels and award above-competitive pay for superior performance, while also sharing our financial success through associate incentives. In return, we ask for your continued dedication and contributions to building a successful company.
Base Pay
Our base compensation system is market-driven and built to differentiate among individuals based on performance and competencies. We offer job levels to illustrate career progression and opportunity, each with a corresponding Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) target incentive opportunity.
Merit Increases
Base pay merit increases are determined by your performance and pay relative to market data. The Company's merit budget is reviewed annually to stay competitive.
Portfolio of Pay Actions
We design tools that give managers the chance to reward you for working hard and contributing to the company's success.
For instance, if you drive your performance to higher levels, you may qualify for a merit increase. If you increase your knowledge and skills and move to a job with a higher market value, you could earn a promotional increase. An Impact Award is paid for special recognition for an outstanding contribution. Finally, if you continue to perform well and are at the high end of your pay range, you may be eligible for a lump sum merit increase.
Annual Incentive Plan (AIP)
Since results improve when all of us are aligned and working together to achieve common goals, the Company offers an AIP when the company does well and we meet or exceed our objectives. The target incentive opportunity is highly competitive and ranges from 5% to 35% of eligible earnings based on your job level. Actual payouts can be as much as two times the target in a given year when the Company and your work group achieve superior performance levels.
